Asamai Temple works with various local schools, colleges and local courts to provide opportunity for members and non members to complete their mandatory or discretionary volunteering needs
Asamai temple has various projects where it needs help including:
- Service food and providing cleaning services during busy service days including Mondays, Tuesdays and Sundays
- Help reaching out to the community in advertizing services we provide
- We work in conjuction with Nassau County Courts as an approved outlet for mandatory community service
- hours for non-violent first time misdemeanor or violation offenders
- Updating mailing lists and other temple paperwork
- Give rides to elderly members
